| VERMIZYN SBK prevention against worms in cow, swine, horse, sheep, goat & poultry VERMIZYN SBK is a powder preparation containing Piperazine citrate that works by hiperpolarization of worms’ muscles which then paralyze worms and thus are spelled out with droppings. Piperazine citrate may be administered to pregnant animals and also to animals suffering from gastrointestinal disorders. Thereby VERMIZYN SBK is very safe to use in cow, swine, horse, sheep, goat & poultry. Composition Piperazine citrate ......................... 998 mg Excipients up to ........................... 1 g Indication To eliminate roundworms (Oesophagostomum sp., Oxyuris sp., and Ascaris sp.) in cow, swine, horse, sheep, goat and poultry. Dosage & Administration VERMIZYN SBK may be administered via drinking water or feed and is given as a single dose. Swine:3 grams per 10 kg of body weight. To piglet, give one week after weaning and every 30 days thereafter. Cow, horse: Calf & foal: 10 grams per 50 kg of body weight. Adult cow & horse: 20 grams per 100 kg of body weight. Sheep, goat: 5 grams per 10 kg of body weight. Poultry: 4-6 weeks old: 10 grams per 1 liter of drinking water or 10 grams per 0.5 kg of feed for 30 chickens. Above 6 weeks old: 10 grams per 2 liters of drinking water or 10 grams per 1 kg of feed for 15 chickens. Caution - Treated drinking water should be completed in 8-12 hours. - Do not give additional feed if treated feed is not consumed completely. - Stop giving VERMIZYN SBK 3 days before livestock is slaughtered for human consumption. | VERMIXON effective for eliminating ascaridiasis VERMIXON is a syrup preparation containing piperazine hexahydrate which is very effective for eliminating ascaridiasis. Piperazine hexahydrate acts as an anthelmintic by producing a neuromuscular block. Production of succinic acid by the worm is also blocked. The result is a paralytic effect. Worms lose their motility and thus their ability to maintain their position in the intestinal tract. They are passively swept along by intestinal peristalsis and then expelled alive in the feces. In addition, piperazine hexahydrate has a wide margin of safety in poultry. Thereby VERMIXON is best for eliminating ascaridiasis in poultry. Composition Piperazine hexahydrate ………….. 38 % w/v Indication Ascaridiasis Dosage & Administration Poultry 4-6 weeks old: 15 ml per 3 liters of drinking water for 50 chickens. | NEMASOL KAPLET Anthelmintic for cattle, goat, sheep, swine and poultry NEMASOL KAPLET is a tablet effective for eliminating various types of worms in the intestines, lungs and throats of livestock such as cow, buffalo, goat, sheep, swine and poultry. Composition Each tablet contains: Levamisole hydrochloride …………… 375 mg Indication Ruminants (cow, buffalo, goat, sheep): Eliminate lung worms (Dictyocaulus sp.) and all Nematodes (Haemonchus sp., Cooperia sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Strongyloides sp., etc). Swine: - Eliminate all Nematodes. - Eliminate adult worms as well as their larvae (Ascaris suum and Metastrongylus sp.). | LEVAMID effective against tapeworm LEVAMID contains Niclosamide and Levamisole HCl. Niclosamide works by inhibiting glucose uptake and interfering phosphorylation process in mitochondria of cestodes, resulting in the blockage of the Krebs cycle that leads to accumulation of lactic acid, which kills the tapeworm. Levamisole HCl stimulates the parasymphathetic and sympathetic ganglia in susceptible worms and interferes with carbohydrate metabolism in nematodes by blocking fumarate reduction and succinate oxidation. The net effect is a paralyzing effect on the worm which is then excreted alive.
